Welcome to the Eastleigh & Winchester ME Support Group.

 

Who are we?

 

We are a locally based independent self-help group for sufferers and those caring for people with

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) as defined by WHO-ICD-10-G93.3.

 

ME is often refered to as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome(CFS) 

It is estimated that there are up to 240,000 people with M.E. in the UK. It can affect men, women and children of all ages and from all social and ethnic groups. It seems to be more common to develop the illness between your early twenties and mid-forties.







EWME Support Group is run wholly by
fellow sufferers who understand the difficulties of dealing with ME/CFS.

We aim to offer support, advice, and friendship to people with ME/CFS who live in Eastleigh/Winchester and surrounding areas.
