To keep in touch with our members, we send out a small monthly Newsletter (not in December),filled with items of interest and useful information,( well we hope they are!!!).
The Newsletter has details of the monthly meetings and any extra activity we may have planned.

We are always pleased to receive any contributions for the Newsletter, jokes poems and articles.

Membership is free at EWME but we do have to charge for the Newsletter, it costs £5.50 for eleven issues Back to top

Raising Awareness

We try to raise awareness of ME and our group by placing posters and leaflets in as many prominent places as possible.

In May 2004( National ME Awareness Week) we had an ME information stall at The Swan Shopping Centre, Eastleigh.

We were astounded at the amount of people who turned up on the day for information and advice.All saying the same thing,

" I thought no one else had this illness"
" Nobody seems to understand what Im going through"
" I feel like such a hypocondriac"
" My Dr/Husband/Kids/Teacher/Boss, just tell me to exercise/pull myself together/get a life/try harder. Back to top

If you would be interested in helping in any way with the group we would be delighted to welcome you on board.
Help with admin, fundraising, event organising, the Drop in Centre all needed.
